Regarding external concerns that "infiltration by enemy spies may affect the combat effectiveness of current and reserve service personnel", the Ministry of National Defense (MND) emphasized today (21st) that the Armed Forces are always committed to the basic work of combat training, and are determined to safeguard national defense. When confronted with the enemy, there are "only dead generals, no surrendered troops." The Armed Forces will go all out to defend our homeland and freedom and democracy.

The MND stated that the Armed Forces have always implemented counterintelligence education, and proactively discovered suspicious signs of enemy spies through security investigations and joint national security and defense mechanisms. In recent years, many cases of communist espionage have been cracked down on based on preventive reports by officers and soldiers. This action will continue to effectively counter-act the CCP from infiltration and sabotage.
